Here's what people are tweeting about Storm Brian today

It’s hard to take a storm called Brian very seriously.

IT’S A NASTY oul day out there, but for most people in Ireland it’s business as usual.

Thankfully conditions are nothing like Monday’s Storm Ophelia, which kept everyone locked indoors, scrolling through their Twitter feeds for as long as their batteries survived.

Unlike Ophelia, Storm Brian probably won’t be making it to the Reeling in the Years montage.

For most people, it doesn’t look any different to autumn weather in Ireland.

Unless you look at a satellite image of it.

Or if you live in Galway.

So take the usual precautions.

Don’t let the name fool you.

Brian’s definitely making his presence felt in Wales.

If you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay in bed, make the most of it.

But if you see others who aren’t as lucky, remember: there are places you can contact.

Things are particularly bad in Limerick at the moment. If you see a rough sleeper, get in contact with Novas Ireland.
